-         Links are very important to viral marketing. If you have many sites lining to you is like spreading the word about your company all around the world. If you have a good website with good content related to information, products or services, people are more likely to link your website to theirs, meaning they recognize your website as valuable.

-         Long term clients: having a website gives you a chance to gain more clients that can help your business grow. A client is your regular customer. He is buying your products or services daily or contractually.

Disadvantages of a Website
-         Reliability, the information on your website may be unreliable if not updated regularly. Ensure that changes are made when necessary.
-         Spam: we all hate spam, the internet equivalent of junk mail. This is one of the disadvantages of a website which can cause you grief.
-         Bad publicity-having a website risks attracting bad publicity, if a customer is unhappy with your products and services, then they may feel the need to rent their frustration online and reference your website in their comments.
-         Difficulty reaching the right people. Because of the nature of the internet and the sheer number of businesses already on the World Wide Web, you may find it difficult to reach the right target audience with your website.
